  • ePromote

Looking for a collection of easy ways to promote your business? You've come to the right place. Here, you'll find quick links to resources and services that we use ourselves here at TurningPointe Marketing.

Okay, now jump in and start promoting your business!

    Here's how...

    Online Syndication

One of the quickest ways to improve your rankings with search engines is to write short articles and syndicate them. This helps get in-bound links to your website (i.e., other sites linking in to yours), which search engines love. You can also get free content for your own website and e-newsletter from their archives (great, if you don't want to write your own content!).

Before you rush off to get articles syndicated, you MUST write a decent article. Many of these sites screen their contributors. For tips and guidelines, CLICK HERE and scroll down to the article, How to Profit From Your Expertise, Part 1 of 2.

Syndication websites to submit articles for review and publication:

Chris Knight's eZineArticles.com: Chris is very hands-on, helpful, and has high standards...tell him we sent you!

IdeaMarketer.com offers opportunity for everyone ("everyone's published" is their tagline), so this may be a good place to experiment and start out:

e-Syndicate.net is less user-friendly, but they get a lot of exposure and rank well on Google.

    E-syndicate.net

You can also submit articles directly to online publishers -- but make sure they target your desired audience! Here's a directory to get you started:

    eNewsletters + Blogs

Hands down, a regular Keep-in-Touch strategy -- anchored by your e-newsletter and blog -- is the fastest way to promote your services. Again, what you put out there has got to be top-quality, high-value, client-centered content...not a thinly veiled way to promote yourself. Here are some resources to help you get it right:

Debbie Weil at WordBiz.com. Debbie's an award-winning newsletter expert and corporate blogging guru. Tell her we sent you!

    Chris Knight at eZineArticles.com

Alexandria Brown, aka the eZine Queen at eZineQueen.com

    Online Press Release Services

Third-party endorsement through the press is a great way to increase your firm's credibility and quickly spread the word about a newsworthy subject. Again, it's about in-bound links (and search engine rankings) as the word spreads online about your story. As with articles, you MUST submit a professionally done press release.

Online press release websites to submit your own press releases:

    PRweb.com

    PRNewswire.com

    BusinessWire.com

    NewsBureau.com

    Radio Publicity

Third-party endorsement through the press is a great way to increase your credibility and quickly spread the word about a new product, service, policy or initiative. For the basics on to use radio to your advantage, check out radio publicity expert Alex Carroll's resources.
