Challenge:
Increase internal and external stakeholder engagement in NIST's efforts to move the nation towards the President’s vision of broad implementation of health information technology (HIT) to achieve a high quality, accessible and cost-effective delivery system in the US. Projecting a clear, consistent message that instills public confidence is crucial for this effort.
Results:
An internal communications strategy has emerged, including supporting tools such as an internal demonstration web portal, stakeholder communication guides, and other supporting materials.
